What appears to be a move toward sportsmanship will have an opposite effect with bad blood brewing amongst teams as move forward with their seasons. Point one: Boise State vs. Oregon.
The Ducks already feel as though BSU put some unwarranted hits on their players last season in Autzen Stadium. The BSU program might say that they aren't paying any mind to the jabber but don't let that fool you. Fans are talking about as well as a handful of the athletes. They are well aware of Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli's comments of distain in regards to the Ducks last season loss.
The shaking of the hands might be counterproductive for the athletes. They should go into the event with a existing level head, or not, with the idea of good sportsmanship on their own accord. It is a testament to the programs and the type of athletes they foster. Any pregame handshake simply becomes a stunt and nothing more.
We all will be witness to the player's perspective on Sept. 3 around 8:00 p.m. MST. You can witness the results for yourself.
WAHOOOOOO!!!! I'm so excited for this game!! What can I say? I'm excited for every BSU game!!!!
